So far I am impressed. I got these for responding to work stuff and they solve the problem of getting black stuff all over my sneakers and lower pants. Also just cleaned an outdoor area and my shoes and pants stayed dry. Tip: Be sure to attach the bungee straps to the button spots on each galosh. That is important as I didn't notice them in the package at first and without them the soles of the galoshes weren't held securely to the sole of my shoes. The size is as expected. Also they dry quickly and store practically flat, so it seems like I get most of the the benefit of wellies without the bulk.
Love these "galoshes" type waterproof over shoe boots. I wear a size 11 wide womens, and bought the XL, following the measurement guidelines on the website. The sizing was exactly the measurements as noted. The XL was a few centimeters longer than the length of my shoe (which I had carefully measured before boot purchase). The width was not a problem as the boots are amply wide. I am 5'5" with slim legs; the boot's zipper and a one snap closure on elastic come just above my calf muscle in the back, and a couple of inches below my knee in the front. They are very comfortable, and there is an elastic band that one can snap on to keep the boot tight to the shoe. I will be enjoying these for many days on my trip, as I move through the cold waters of Greenland from zodiac to land.
I have a size 10 shoe and the largest size JUST fits. 1 of the little side straps ripped right out after a half dozen uses or so. I'd much rather have a decent pair of high water boots but these are MUCH easier to put on my prosthetic limb since the ankle doesn't bend to point my toes. I just sit on a four-wheeler and drive around. If I where to walk around then they wouldn't last as long.
These are a great idea as I often have to go directly from clinic to my horse pasture which is usually wet and muddy any time it rains. These Galoshes were great at protecting my shoes and pant legs for the first few steps, but the Left developed a leak at the foot seam and the Right a small tear so my light colored leather office wear shoes quickly developed dark stains from the wet mud. I've considered using waterproof tape over the leaks, but I've had better luck with plastic bags so I haven't tried taping up this product to make it more water/mud proof. I'm hoping for a more durable product to be available soon since this is a great idea, but the current product is much too fragile for what I need.
Finally got a chance to use today. Waterproof, but clunky. So just need to figure out if I can keep from being loose around shoe, kind of feel like I'm dragging my feet because shoe portion drags with each step. But all being equal, my feet were dry when I got into my workplace.
