Top critical review
4 stars for the product and minus 5 stars for the packaging

Purchasing this product has been a mixed bag experience. So i'll begin with the good qualities and the work my way down.
*Product quality: 5 stars*
It's a sturdy product on it's own. the dimensions are a little off... it's not the same as the site mentions. It's shorter and wider, and deeper too. But that's not a problem for me. It fits a good deal of stuff. Also, i decided to go with this product Vs others as i had purchased from them before and i was aware of their product quality.
Please be informed that the seller has mentioned the possibility of customization, which they definitely do. However, that comes with an added cost even if it's a color change. This is just for information, from my experience.
Another thing is that the back of the cupboard is not made of wood as shown in the picture. It's MDF or some other material.
*Amazon experience: 5 stars*
Since the product arrived damaged, i reached out to Amazon and the vendor/seller (attic furniture). The Amazon executive was very responsive and helpful.
*Vendor experience: 3 stars*
As i mentioned before, I decided to purchase from attic as i have purchased at least three other pieces over the last 4 years from them. They are all still standing and in good condition.
However, since the product i got was damaged, i reached out to them to get it fixed. Their response was a lukewarm, templatized kind of response: "Sorry. Yes we'll fix it" followed by no information or proactivity from their end. They did fix the issue, but after me calling and following up and also letting them know that if it was not fixed by the end of the week, i'd have no choice but to return the product. This behavior was a stark difference from the last time i purchased.
I strongly believe that responsive and proactive after-sales is very important to a good customer experience.
*Packaging of product: MINUS 5 stars*
A cabinet with glass doors weighing 50kg or more came wrapped in a cardboard box! There was just some bubble wrap, a thin 2mm sheet of foam and a single corrugated cardboard box between the cabinet and the external elements. The glass parts had just an extra one-inch sheet of styrofoam.
The product i got had been knocked about and came with two broken glass panes, dents in the wood where it has splintered and some cracks in the wood. pictures for reference.
Since i was not keen to send the cabinet back, the seller helped replace the broken glass, but i have to live with the cracks and splinters.
All my previous purchases from attic arrived in proper packaging - thick cardboard, layers and layers of bubblewrap AND a wooden pallet that provided an extra layer of protection
So please think a few times before buying this product, not because the product is bad, but because the packaging is only suitable for books, and not a cabinet.
