Bought this from a vendor called B L Wood on Amazon. The delivery guys refused to bring it to the first floor living bedroom and left it in the first floor itself.
It was delivered in a wooden crate, which they refused to open/unpack, to allow me to inspect the product for damages.
I had to then get my own carpenter to open it.
When opened, there were significant damages in many places…lots of scratches on the polish and chipped/scraped away areas of the front fascia.
I asked for a replacement ….but they insisted on sending their carpenter to “repair” it. The carpenter soon arrived and began to sandpaper the drawers and the frame, and applied some polish and told us to let it dry to see the final finish and left (no charges for the “repair”). Few hours later, the product has got a darker (unexpected) color and the flaws of the damage are still visible in a couple of places.
Due to these “repairs” on a brand-new product, it doesn't look like a new product now. The surface is rough in many places, and the color of the product is darker than the original shade. Moreover, the drawers are not aligned well and a couple of them stick out more than the others.
The quality of the wood is good, but the workmanship is very poor.
This purchase has not been a very pleasant overall!
