I purchased this hair dryer from Amazon and found two years warranty of this item. Yesterday it's stopped work and I have tried to call Philips toll free number. But found this number switched off. Before this I faced same problem with another product of Amazon. If Amazon providing this kind of service to the customer... We online customer of Amazon get disappointed.
Poor product. For first 2 months it worked fine. Then the dryer started getting auto-stop if run for more than 35-40 seconds; then it won't start again before 4-5 minutes. Since the product has 2-year warranty, I replaced it from a Phillips service center, but the coil of replaced dryer (replaced product was handed to me 1 month after applying) got burnt within few months. Since I was still within 2-year warranty period from the initial purchase date, I again demanded a replacement from Philips service center. I received a re-replaced dryer again 5 weeks after applying. Not sure how long will this last too.
product making noise and get off I placed complete to the company and technician came today he collected products for replacement or repair but said the product cannot be repair it's China made and will get after 10 to15 plus Diwali 4 to 5 days extra he said product cannot be use more than 10 minutes I think the product is not for havy use and not recommended to professional use I will write more later when I get the product back
This is specially to let us know that this is potentially a dangerous thing for people with long hair. While using the back side fan of the dryer sucks the hair inside and it could get really dangerous. It really happened with someone at my home. They could have made it more safe or added safety instructions visibly on the outside box itself
Amazon has taken double payment for this item. Though I have paid the amount through the payment link, the courier person has demanded POD, as the payment status is not updated in his device. There is not way to contact Amzaon customer care for such issues. They have a static IVR with specific issues, which will never solve your real issue. Cheating by all means.
I had the same model for more than 5 years even though it used to give me trouble once in a while. Bought this again as my old one stopped working. The new one stopped working in literally 10 days. Could not return it as the return window was closed. I read these sort fo reviews and still went ahead and bought this as I had decent experience and it turned out it to be a bad one this time.
