Use a tiny amount and create nice suds by adding a little water and running your hands together before applying to your face. Ready to rinse off, even great for removing make up. When removing make up, easy to use a warm wash cloth. Leaves you with a fresh, clean feeling. No scent.
This is hands down the best cleanser I've ever used, and I've used a lot! It leaves my face squeaky clean but it isn't drying. A little goes a long way and a tube tends to last about 8 or 9 months, so it's not expensive considering. The smell is nice as well and not too strong.
This product is not cheap! but my husband won't wash his face with any other cleanser. I've tried to get him to like other cleansers, but none of them come close to the quality of this. Tip: you only need a TINY bit of this stuff to get a great lather on your face. So it does actually last a pretty long time because of that. I also LOVE the smell. Great stuff, but you get hooked on it and can't turn back!
I have purchased this cleanser for many years , and the deal on this was great. However this cleanser is not real , and it's a shame. First off the tube and applicator are obviously not the quality. Comes in a sealed box, but you can tell once opened. Most importantly is obviously the cleanser itself. For those who know La Prairie this cleanser is pink in color, this is white. Its also suppose to foam up a lot, this does not at all, and of course the signature La Prairie smell, this is basic soap. I do not review a lot, but buyers need to know this is not real. I wish they would take a look into this.
This is usually my second cleanse at night or in the morning. I like to follow the application with my Clarisonic to get all the dirt and oil out. La prairie makes amazing and highly effective products that I recommend to everyone. This is no exception. It's a strong yet gentle cleanser and leaves my skin feeling smooth and literally clean. But not the "stripped of everything good" kind of clean. More like a soft moisturized clean. It's a pink cleanser which really does foam effectively. But unlike most foaming cleansers I don't get that weird bare naked streaky clean feeling afterwards. I feel that my face is hydrated and soft. It's helped take my clogged pores and my blackheads are almost non existent after using this consistently. I use less about a pea size amount to get the job done. Anymore and there's too much foam everywhere.
I've been using LaPrairie Foam cleanser for years. I love it and have not found anything else that will take all makeup off, including eye makeup, with one wash, and have your skin be soft and perfectly clean afterwards. For comparison, I've used Lancôme, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Aveda, and Sisley, not to mention several drug store brands. The only thing comparable to this when it comes to removing makeup quickly without using a cleansing cream or cleansing oil is MAC towelettes. Purity is also nice, but this is better in my judgement because again, you need so little and it does it in one wash. LaPrairie is expensive, but you only need to use a pea size amount for your whole face and you won't break out from it either. It also works well with a cleansing device (Clarsonic). I think it's worth the money.
I got the package fine but had to return because I suspected it was opened and used before for following reasons. 1. there was a cut slit on the side of package 2. when opening the cap was loosely closed 3 there was a tiny drop of cream or something on cap (cap is not clean) 4. the content was not full to the top when opened the cap. I could see to 1/3 of the tube. 5 there was no safety seal to cover the tube. I checked with Nordstrom to do price comparison. Found price I paid was about &20 cheaper. Anyways, even the price is good but I would not want to use something that was used or returned by other people, especially on skin products. It may be alright if it was stated online that these products were returned goods or goods that old. Maybe for I would still buy them for the prices. Not when I thought I was buying first quality La Prairie. I have been using this brand for over 30 years. I know the products well. Ellen Chao
Have used ir for approximately 15 years it is so kind to my skin and removes all trace of make-up. I never use soap on my face and my complexion is as clear to-day as it was as a child (I am 82) Keep it up please.
