No,I don't think so ,before buying i have seen so many notes about it where we can check easily that it not for laundry purpose and it comes with Alovera Extracts (particular this one) ,for laundry you need to take"soap shreds" its a same thing but it works as detergent base

You need to cut it into size of sugar cubes and then by using double boiler method, melt it. Remember soap evaporates fast so the moment it melts you need to add ur ingredients super quick and put in the soap moulds to dry.
