sizing way too small

I am usually a 6 and that is the size I ordered and received but the shoe is actually probably a 5. I should really just have returned it but it always seems so complicated to return something that I kept it and started using the shoe. I have walked in it but it's actually not comfortable like trainers should be.
also, the back of the heel feels like it is not high enough. this seems like a prototype shoe that went wrong.
very disappointing for a New Balance shoe and for the price too. Do not buy unless you order 1 size up.
since when does shoe sizing go wrong though? clothes are difficult to buy and now shoes as well?

I am size 4.5 and I have a wide foot. I ordered both a 4.5 wide and a 5 wide to hedge my bets. The 5 wide has just turned up and I literally cannot get my foot in the trainer. It is even looks narrower than an ordinary trainer out of the box. Very disappointed.
Three stars because maybe it's a good trainer for people who can actually get their foot in it.

I normally live NB trainers. This pair were advertised as neutral runners. They are not. The insoles are raised and the fabric of the trainer and general build is very stiff meaning there is little flexibility when running. So much so they quickly become uncomfortable. After six weeks, they are still very uncomfortable and have been relegated to street trainer: general everyday usage. Definitely not worth the price or the discomfort…..
